Dummy Ball To Be An Olympic Event.
Everyone obviously knows that Dummy Ball is played only by dummies. That was easy, but why is it called Dummy Ball? Can you believe that not a single dummy ever asked that question. Who was the dummy that invented and named it, in what year, and how was the name derived? It was a complete mystery to us all. People were playing it for years and kept calling out, “HEY DUMMY, WHERE'S THE BALL? THROW ME THE BALL, DUMMY.” They were all dumbfounded until Betsy suggested, “Let's read the Dummy Ball Rulebook.” Well, she read it and laughed hysterically, “There's no ball in Dummy Ball, you dummy. That's why they call it Dummy Ball.” But being the fun loving dummies that we all were, we just kept right on playing.

Dum Dum wins the Academy Reward for best actor in the comedic book category for his Pewlitzer Prize winning book “Accidental Droppings.”
He promises to thank the Academy with accidental droppings on their heads … just as soon as he learns how to fly.
